Nouna: Venscelas Samou Dembele, a candidate with a disability who has autism, has successfully obtained the A4 series baccalaureate in the 2026 session. This achievement highlights the capabilities of individuals living with a disability when appropriate support and learning conditions are provided.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Venscelas Samou Dembele's journey is a testament to resilience and determination, earning the admiration of his educational supervisors and classmates. He completed his schooling at Notre-Dame du Rosaire school in Bomborokuy and continued his studies at Saint M'baga Tuzinde private high school in Nouna.

After securing his BEPC, Dembele advanced to the provincial high school of Nouna for secondary education. Over three years, he worked diligently and ultimately achieved the baccalaureate, series A4, in the 2026 session with a Passable distinction. Despite his disability, he actively participated in sports and cultural activities at the high school.

Emmanuel Coulibaly, the principal of the provincial high school in Nouna, commended Venscelas Samou Dembele for his courage and determination throughout his educational journey.
