Opening ceremony of the SNC 2024: The lawn of the Sangoulé Lamizana stadium will have a makeover for the opening

Bobo-Dioulasso: The Minister of State, Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo and that of Sports, Youth and Employment, Boubacar Savadogo, visited the Sangoulé Lamizana stadium on Saturday April 6, 2024 in Bobo-Dioulasso.Selected to host the opening ceremony of the 21st edition of the National Culture Week (SNC), the lawn of the Sangoulé Lamizana stadium in Bobo-Dioulasso is in poor condition.This is the observation made by the Minister of State, Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, accompanied by his colleague of Sports, Youth and Employment, Boubacar Savadogo, during a visit on Saturday April 6, 2024 to Bobo-Dioulasso.Three weeks before the opening of this biennial of culture, act 21, scheduled from April 27 to May 4, this lawn must be completely changed.The Minister in charge of Sports reassured his counterpart that all arrangements will be made for the parade of troops and parades to be held on the a thletics track which is in a state of disrepair.As for the pitch, the head of the Sports Department indicated that it will be covered with synthetic turf which must come from Ouagadougou.According to him, arrangements will be made so that before April 27, 2024 everything is put in place to deal with the difficulties that exist.'We will take on the challenge of the SNC opening ceremony. We will support the ministry in charge of culture for all the great actions that are being done, and especially this big heritage which is the SNC,' underlined Boubacar Savadogo.Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo left satisfied with the visit.
