Ouagadougou: The Minister of Communication, Pingdwend© Gilbert Ou©draogo, joined by members of the organizing committee for "The Night of the Popular Progressive Revolution," visited His Majesty the Mogho Naaba to seek blessings and advice for the event scheduled for September 30, 2026, across all regions of Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the organizing committee is actively involved in preparations for the event and considered it essential to update the Mogho Naaba on the progress. During the visit, Minister Ou©draogo expressed the desire for the Mogho Naaba's blessings to ensure the successful execution of the Night of the Revolution.
Minister Ou©draogo stated that the visit aimed to secure continued support and guidance from His Majesty for the event's success. The Night of the Popular Progressive Revolution is a response to the aspirations expressed by the Burkinabe people.
The minister and the committee shared details of the event with the Mogho Naaba, emphasizing its purpose to unite the people of Burkina Faso. The night will serve as an opportunity to reflect on achievements since September 30, 2022, and to highlight the President's vision for Burkina Faso.
The event will celebrate national achievements, notably through the Faso Mªbo initiative and the reconquest of national territory. It aims to motivate the population to continue their efforts toward achieving final victory. Various performances and guests from different regions will be present at Revolution Square.
The committee encourages public attendance in large numbers for the celebration. The main event will take place at Revolution Square in Ouagadougou, with additional activities in various regions in collaboration with local governors, as well as at Burkina Faso's embassies and diplomatic missions.
His Majesty, through a representative, conveyed optimism for a smooth event and recommended that Burkinab¨ culture and tradition be prominently featured during the celebration.
