M©guet: The best students from the Koulw©ogo ''A'' and Koulw©ogo ''B'' public primary schools, in the commune of M©guet, were celebrated on Saturday during an awards ceremony organized in the presence of educational authorities, customary authorities, parents of students, and many guests.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative aimed to promote academic excellence and encourage students to persevere. On this occasion, the top five students in each class received school bags, supplies, and envelopes of cash, to the applause of a large and enthusiastic crowd.
The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of M©guet, Nongaouaogr© Koalaga, educational supervisors from the CEB, the directors of the schools of Koulw©ogo A, Arouna Dianda, and Koulw©ogo B, Toukoumnogo Kabor©, the chief of the village of Koulw©ogo, teachers, school partners, parents of students, as well as many local personalities.
The CCEB of M©guet, Nongaouaogr© Koalaga, expressed his delight at the strong community mobilization and the numerous contributions made to the organization of the ceremony. He commended the excellent results achieved, particularly the 100% pass rate obtained by the Koulw©ogo "A" school in the Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP) examination, 2026 session.
He congratulated the principals, teachers, and parents of students, while inviting all stakeholders to maintain this momentum in order to sustainably preserve these performances.
The headmaster of Koulw©ogo "A" school, Arouna Dianda, expressed his great satisfaction with the results achieved. His school presented 57 candidates for the CEP (Certificate of Primary Education), all of whom passed, achieving a 100% success rate, a performance that makes it the top-performing school in the M©guet CEB (Basic Education Center).
He described this result as a "complete success" and expressed his thanks to the CCEB for its constant support, to the management team, to the teaching staff of the Koulw©ogo "A" and "B" schools, with a special mention to the CM2 teacher, Pascal Comber©, as well as to the Association for the Development of Koulw©ogo (ADK), which provided a printer to the establishment, to the Koulw©ogo Alumni Association, and to all the partners who contributed to this success.
The chief of the village of Koulw©ogo "A", for his part, expressed his joy and pride in the achievements. He thanked the heads of the two schools and prayed to the spirits of the ancestors that the results would be even better in the years to come.
Pascal Comber©, the teacher of the fifth-grade class, was deeply moved and dedicated this achievement to everyone in the school community. He expressed particular gratitude to his principal for his constant support and guidance throughout the school year.
Through this awards ceremony, education stakeholders in Koulw©ogo reaffirm their commitment to promoting academic excellence and making merit a powerful lever for success for future generations.
