Passor©: The Koglzanga Association of Customary and Traditionalists for Well-being, Peace and Social Cohesion (ACOTRAB-PACO) of Passor© officially launched its activities on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Yako, with a focus on the theme: "Role of Customary and Traditionalists in the Restoration and Strengthening of Peace and Social Cohesion."
According to Burkina Information Agency, the newly formed ACOTRAB-PACO aims to unite the guarantors of customs and traditions in the Passor© province under a common structure. The association, which seeks to leverage tradition for societal harmony, was inaugurated during a ceremony attended by influential figures including the governor of the North region, Thomas YAMPA, and local entrepreneur Sompagnimdi Fr©d©ric Ou©draogo, who sponsored the event.
The ceremony in Passor© was notable for the presence of several provincial and regional administrative authorities. Key figures such as the Governor of the region and the High Commissioner of Passor©, Daouda Sangar©, were present to show their support for the initiative. The association's mission is to harness traditional leadership to foster peace and social cohesion within the community, reflecting a commitment to using cultural heritage as a tool for unity.
