Passore: An association trains middle and high school students in entrepreneurship: As part of its national tour called 'High School Entrepreneur', the Beog-Nere Association for Development (ABPD) trained students from the commune of Bokin in entrepreneurship on April 25 and 26, 2026.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative aims to strengthen, among middle and high school students, the spirit of initiative and the ability to create income-generating activities, in a context marked by the gradual rise of unemployment. The association's president, Mr. Abdoul Aziz Konda, stated that ABPD has been working for several years to promote entrepreneurship in Burkina Faso, particularly in practical fields such as livestock farming, catering, soap making, decoration, dyeing, and other promising trades.
"For the past two years, we have been meeting with young people to talk to them about entrepreneurship, in order to instill in them values and skills that can make them the entrepreneurs of tomorrow," he stressed. Mr. Konda also expressed his gratitude to the director of the CEG of Seguedin, Aristide Yoda, for his availability and open collaboration, which facilitated the successful organization of this training session.
During these two days, participants were trained in several practical modules, including breeding techniques, the manufacture and management of incubators, the production of cosmetic products, and the dyeing of Koko Dunda loincloths. At the end of the training, each participant received a certificate of completion and a manual, demonstrating the association's commitment to supporting students towards financial independence.
The school's director, Aristide Yoda, welcomed this initiative, which he described as beneficial for the learners. He encouraged the association's leaders to continue this momentum and congratulated the beneficiaries for their diligence in the training. Through this action, ABPD confirms its commitment to making entrepreneurship a credible alternative for the future of young Burkinabe.
