The Northern Patriots Movement (MPN) and the National Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations (CNAVC) Passoré section, organized last Saturday a march in support of the Transition authorities and pleaded for an alliance of all the States of the Sahel.
Having left from Naba-Djiguèmdé square in Yako, passing through the CMA and the town hall roundabout, to reach the starting point, the marchers sang the national anthem during their passage, a sign, according to them, courage and combativeness, commitment and resilience of our valiant FDS and VDP, engaged in the reconquest of the national territory.
‘Down with ECOWAS’, ‘Yes to the extension of the transition’ these were, among others, the messages that could be read on the banners and placards of the demonstrators.
According to the organizers, the march is intended to be proof of the commitment and determination of the populations of the Passoré province to support the Transition authorities.
The various messages delivered invited, among others, the inter
national community to support actions to reconquer the territory of the alliance of Sahel States.
For the representative of the movements supporting the authorities of the Northern Transition, Sanata Ouédraogo, who came from Ouahigouya, the organizers accompany the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, through a march for a sustainable transition, peace and security in Burkina Faso.
‘Captain Ibrahim Traoré must finish what he started, that is to say, the fight against the forces of evil and the acquisition of agricultural and military equipment. », she wished.
Ms. Ouédraogo also indicated that in view of the achievements made by the Transition authorities, it is not necessary to go to elections for the moment.
The head of national coordination of the citizen watch of Passoré, Baba Ouédraogo and his comrades specified that the population of Yako will always accompany Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
