The Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Cyril, said Thursday, the joy of Russia to share the same values -morals- with Africa.

He called on Africans to be “ready to uphold the sacred principles of the sacred union between man and woman”.

For Cyrille, “the system of misfortunes imposed by the West leads to ruin”, an allusion to the rights recognized for sexual and gender minorities by Western countries.

The religious leader assured that more than 100 nationalities from all religions live in peace in Russia.
