Djibo: This Saturday, April 5, 2025, the city of Djibo vibrated to the rhythm of patriotic commitment through a day of sanitation at the Medical Center with Surgical Antenna (CMA). The initiative, which is part of the calls for mobilization launched by the Head of State, saw the active participation of all the actors of the Soum province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, under the leadership of the High Commissioner of the province, Mr. Wend-N©r© Wilfried Tougma, this day aimed to promote discipline, order, and patriotism among the inhabitants of Djibo. In his speech, the High Commissioner called on every Soumois to actively engage in the interest of the nation, stressing the importance of unity and solidarity for harmonious development, both at the local and national levels.
The sanitation day was marked by a strong mobilization of administrative, customary, and religious authorities, as well as the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). It was also a moment of popular gathering, without distinction of ethnicity, religion, or gender, thus strengthening the spirit of cohesion and fraternity.
The High Commissioner's message was in line with the slogan issued by the President of Faso, His Excellency Captain Ibrahim Traor©: "Ensure discipline and order." He recalled that the discipline and commitment of all citizens are the keys to the success of the transition and the preservation of the patriotic values that make Burkina Faso strong.
This sanitation day not only improved the CMA's environment, but also strengthened community spirit and commitment to the national cause.
