Patriotic Commitment: The CEO of GES Company Donates Nearly 8 Million in Medical-Technical Equipment to the Sakoula CSPS

Ouagadougou: The Chairman and CEO of the GES company, El Hadji Mahamadi Sanfo, on Saturday donated a batch of medical-technical, reception, and solar installation equipment, with an estimated value of nearly 8 million FCFA, to the Sakoula Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS), located in the 9th district of Ouagadougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, after electrifying the CSPS of Sakoula, El Hadji Mahamadi Sanfo, son of district 9, handed over on October 25, 2025, a batch of health equipment including beds, mattresses, syringes, dressing products as well as reception equipment and solar installation to the medical center.

The donor stated that this gesture, part of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation, responds to the call for solidarity launched by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. He emphasized that “the first beneficiaries are our women and children,” inviting people of goodwill to support the State’s efforts, especially in the health sector.

The symbolic handover of the equipment was chaired by the president of the special delegation (PDS) of the 9th district, Joceline Traore/Sanon, who expressed the government’s gratitude to the donor.

The PDS urged the population to strengthen solidarity to find solutions together that address their concerns, in line with the ideals of the progressive and popular revolution. The PDS expressed hope that the donated equipment would be put to good use and that the CSPS’s other needs would be addressed in the near future.

The “Progressive Coalition of Faso,” represented by its Vice President Kassoum Sanfo, welcomed this generous gesture, which will help improve the working conditions of healthcare staff and the quality of care for CSPS users. He recalled that the coalition launched an appeal to equip the Sakoula health center in August 2024.
