Ouagadougou: PDS Benjamin Nana officially launches the Faso project: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Dissihn, Benjamin Nana, proceeded, on Saturday July 4, 2026, to the official launch of the works of the Faso Mêbo agency, in the presence of the people who turned out in large numbers.According to Burkina Information Agency, gathered in the bus station square, the residents of Dissihn, joined by a Ghanaian delegation visiting the town, demonstrated their support for this initiative by participating in a paving project. A total of 660 paving stones were laid during this first day of work.The PDS explained that the municipality is thus responding to the call of President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor, inviting Burkinabe to contribute to the construction and beautification of their homeland through the Faso Mêbo initiative. However, he noted that the rugged terrain of Dissihn and heavy rainfall limit the use of paving stones in certain areas of the municipality.Faced with th is reality, the Faso Mêbo municipal committee decided to direct its efforts towards the construction of crossing structures in the villages where the needs are most pressing. Mr. Nana praised the strong mobilization of the sons and daughters of Dissihn as well as the contribution of the Ghanaian delegation, which he described as a testament to solidarity and commitment to local development.
