Peace Ambassadors Acknowledge Efforts of 16 Development Actors in Sourou

Sourou: The Ambassadors of Peace of Sourou, with backing from the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), commended 16 development actors in the province for their resilience and contribution to local development during a ceremony held in Tougan. The event was overseen by the High Commissioner of Sourou Province, D©sir© Badolo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ambassadors of peace emphasized their appreciation by presenting certificates of recognition, highlighting the dedication and efforts of development actors, particularly those from public administration and production sectors, amid ongoing security challenges.

The secretary of the ambassadors of peace of Sourou, Ms. Christine Yelemou/To©, stated that the initiative seeks to encourage the recognized individuals and inspire other development actors to follow suit. "The ceremony that brings us together this morning is organised by the ambassadors of peace of Sourou with the support of members of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) in Ouagadougou," Ms. Yelemou explained. She further expressed gratitude towards the state agents and producers for their resilience during the prevailing security crisis in the region.

Among the recipients, humanitarian worker Assami Kiendrebeogo expressed satisfaction with the recognition and committed to continuing his efforts in serving the community. "It is the merit of an entire service that is being recognized here. I thank the ambassadors of peace of Sourou for this recognition and I pledge to redouble my efforts to always be at the service of the people of the region," he stated.

High Commissioner D©sir© Badolo, also acknowledged during the ceremony, praised the initiative as a source of motivation to continue their work. He encouraged all socio-professional groups to strive harder for the community's welfare through tangible development actions.
