Ouagadougou: A land dispute between two brothers from the same family turned tragic on the night of Sunday, August 23, 2026, in Sibra, a village located about 6 km from Bouroum-Bouroum, leaving one dead and one seriously injured.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the two brothers clashed around 11 p.m., against the backdrop of a land dispute that dates back several years. During the confrontation, one of the protagonists lost his life, while the other, seriously injured, was evacuated to the medical center to receive treatment.
