Poni: Gaoua Municipality Donates 390 Desks and Benches to Local Schools

Gaoua: The President of the special delegation of the municipality of Gaoua, Siaka Ouattara, handed over educational equipment consisting of 390 desks, benches, desks, and office chairs to the primary and secondary schools of the municipality.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation was made by the town hall and its partners and is aimed at improving the working conditions of teachers and the learning conditions of students. Siaka Ouattara stated that this initiative is part of the national vision to promote quality education in Burkina Faso.

Mr. Ouattara highlighted that during a tour conducted at the beginning of the school year, he identified shortcomings in the schools, which led to the mobilization of resources to acquire the equipment. He expressed gratitude to the partners for their support in enhancing students' learning conditions and urged education stakeholders to make effective use of the equipment.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Kiffou Sansan Hien, Head of the Basic Education District of Gaoua, expressed gratitude to the municipality and its partners. He noted that the equipment will significantly improve working and learning conditions and emphasized that quality education is essential for development. Hien also commended the partners' commitment to the local education system and hoped for continued support.
