Ouagadougou: The Tiossera FC team won the 11th edition of the Maracana Top Vacances tournament on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Loropni, by winning on penalties (2-0) against Sanwara FC.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Placed under the theme "Sport and social cohesion between the sons and daughters of Dj´r´", this edition brought together 14 teams for a month.

Before the kick-off, the secretary general of the Loropni town hall, Abdoul Aziz Sawadogo, representing the president of the special municipal delegation, praised the sustainability of the initiative and invited the teams to show fair play.

The provincial director of sports for Poni, Mathurin Sow, encouraged young people to use sport as a vehicle for peace and social cohesion. He also called on players to prioritize discipline, fair play, and mutual respect.

"May victory or defeat never be a source of division, but rather an opportunity to strengthen our bonds and our brotherhood," he said.

At the end of the competition, Tiossera FC received the trophy, an envelope of 100,000 CFA francs, a ball, a set of jerseys and gold medals.

Sanwara FC, the unfortunate finalist, received an envelope containing 75,000 CFA francs, a ball, a set of jerseys and silver medals.

Special prizes were also awarded, including to the best goalkeeper, top scorer and player, as well as to the best supporters.
