Tougo:A popular cross-country race followed by an aerobics session was organized at the initiative of the President of the special delegation of the commune of Tougo, Boureima Souley, as part of the second phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, starting at the Tougo town hall. Participants followed a route to the Tougo General Education College and concluded at the departmental sports field, where a 30-minute aerobics session was held in a friendly atmosphere.

The initiative aimed to promote health and cultivate discipline and solidarity within the community. Comrade Souley praised the participants for their commitment and encouraged them to incorporate sports into their daily routines, emphasizing the need for healthy citizens capable of serving the nation.

This event is part of a broader schedule for the JEPPC, which ran from October 2 to 16, 2026, and included a sanitation day at the Health and Social Promotion Center of Tougo on October 7.
