Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAOR, welcomed the Relwende Teel Taba Women's Cooperative from Zongo village at the Koulouba Palace on March 6, 2026, expressing his support for local agricultural initiatives.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the delegation led by Lieutenant-Colonel Passowend Plagie KABOR, Minister of Family and Solidarity, visited to express their gratitude for the development of a market garden area provided to them last year during International Women's Day. The cooperative's president, Ms. Elise Oudraogo, highlighted the improvements made, including fencing and a modern irrigation system that features a water tower and reservoirs, enhancing their agricultural output.
The women of Zongo showed their appreciation by presenting samples of their produce to Captain Ibrahim TRAOR, underscoring the positive impact of the government's support on their productivity and livelihoods.
