Nando: The Presidency of Norbert-ZONGO University, in collaboration with the Faso Mebo Presidential Initiative, launched the 'Let's Get to Work' concept this Saturday. The initiative involves organizing trips for students, faculty, and administrative and technical staff from Norbert-ZONGO University to Faso Mebo sites to participate in various projects in the Nando region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of Norbert-ZONGO University, Professor Windkouni Haoua Eugenie MAIGA, commended the strong student participation in the 'Let's Get to Work' initiative. The university, which has over 40,000 students, planned its active participation in the Faso Mebo project for four weeks. The Faculty of Economics and Management, UNZ's first faculty, kicked things off with over 1,000 students. In an orderly and disciplined manner, the students divided themselves into different workshops for the preparation, transport, and laying of the paving stones. Professor MAIGA expressed hope that students from other faculties, as well as administrative staff and teachers, would respond in similar numbers.

The regional coordination of the Faso Mebo Presidential Initiative praised this example from UNZ. Captain Isma«l Nathana«l NOMBRE, the Nando Regional Coordinator of Faso Mebo, emphasized that the participation showcases the understanding among the people of Burkina Faso that no one else will develop the nation for them. He noted that the active involvement of students demonstrates that the message of Comrade President, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, has been understood: a youth at the service of its nation.

Captain NOMBRE took the opportunity to reiterate the call to all Burkinabe to contribute to the implementation of the Faso Mebo Presidential Initiative. The "Let's Get to Work" concept will continue for the next four weeks with the other Teaching and Research Units, the University Institute of Technology, and the Doctoral Schools of UNZ.
