Ouagadougou: The Prime Minister, Comrade Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel OUEDRAOGO, met with a delegation from the Organizing Committee of the Night of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP), an event set to mark the conclusion of the fourth year of the Popular Progressive Revolution's communication efforts.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the delegation, led by the Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Comrade Pingdwende Gilbert OUEDRAOGO, presented the action plan to the Head of Government and sought his advice to enhance the organization of the event. The Night aims to foster a public gathering to celebrate the achievements and vision of the RPP.
Comrade Gilbert OUEDRAOGO announced the event is scheduled for September 30th, intended as a moment of national unity, and extended an invitation to all Burkinabe, regardless of their location. He emphasized the event as an opportunity to celebrate victories, reaffirm sovereignty, and disseminate the ideals of the Popular Progressive Revolution.
The Minister of Communication explained that the event will take place at the Place de la Revolution in Ouagadougou, in regional capitals, and at Burkina Faso's diplomatic missions abroad. He encouraged Burkinabe and Africans who support the revolutionary ideals of Comrade Captain Ibrahim TRAORE to join in as friends of Burkina Faso, participating in the event from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
The Night of the RPP will feature performances by national and international artists, alongside showcases of the RPP's achievements under Comrade Captain Ibrahim TRAORE's leadership.
The Comrade Prime Minister emphasized the importance of mobilization for the event, urging the Organizing Committee to engage in effective communication and involve regional administrative authorities. He highlighted the Night as an opportunity to showcase the resurgence of the Burkinabe People under the leadership of President of Faso, Comrade Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, and instructed the Committee to ensure no Burkinabe is left behind in the celebration.
