Namassa: The Head of the Noaga Basic Education District, Michel Kindo, and his supervisory team convened in Namassa on February 3, 2025, with school principals and CM2 teachers from the Seguenega 1 Basic Education District. The meeting was part of a professional development day aimed at enhancing educational practices.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the agenda for this professional development day included an explanation of different learning taxonomies, specification charts, and a practical lesson on mathematical problem-solving methods. The CEB officials designed this day to help participants understand taxonomic levels and specification tables essential for constructing standardized assessments. Mastery of mathematical problem-solving methods by participants is expected to improve student performance on the end-of-year assessment.
The event was attended by all permanent and substitute teachers of the final year of primary school (CM2), along with school principals from across the CEB district. Starting next week, these participants will conduct follow-up sessions in their respective schools under the supervision of pedagogical advisors.
