Progress Celebrated in Niaogho on Fourth Anniversary of RPP

Niaogho:As the fourth anniversary of Captain Ibrahim Traor's accession to power approaches, local actors in Niaogho are assessing the progress made under the RPP.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the secretary general of the commune of Niaogho, Ambroise Bayili, highlighted noticeable changes in administration since Traor's leadership began. He noted that from Traor's inaugural speech, there was a clear intention to advance administrative processes, which has now reduced bureaucratic delays significantly.

Bayili mentioned improvements such as the re-equipping of public structures and the decentralization of decision-making, which have empowered local authorities with greater autonomy. A major infrastructure project, the Ouagadougou-Bobo highway, launched earlier this year, is reportedly progressing well.

Additionally, community efforts have led to the funding and construction of a perimeter wall for the local gendarmerie brigade, at a cost exceeding 85 million FCFA. In agriculture, 26 Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland (VDP) have been trained and are working on a 15-hectare collective farm. Adama Kouda, the group's president, expressed that government assistance with farming equipment, fertilizer, and seeds has significantly enhanced agricultural productivity. Each volunteer also received a bag of fertilizer for their personal use.

Young participants in mandatory patriotic immersion programs report gaining a deeper understanding of national history and republican values through their training. In Niaogho, the fourth anniversary of the RPP is marked by initiatives focusing on security, agricultural enhancement, and civic engagement.
