Sandbondtenga: Project Manager Issa Lagvar© is satisfied with the progress of the Korsimoro dam rehabilitation work. Issa Lagvar©, the Special Advisor to the President of Burkina Faso for the Kouls© region, conducted a site visit to the Korsimoro dam on Friday. Following the visit, he expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the ongoing rehabilitation work.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the visit allowed Issa Lagvar© to observe the progress of the work on this hydraulic structure. Mahamoudou Sawadogo, a member of the technical team, confirmed that the work is proceeding according to plan and delivery is expected on schedule.

The project manager indicated that the rehabilitation of this infrastructure is a key factor in achieving food sovereignty. "Achieving food sovereignty requires quality hydraulic infrastructure," he stated. The operators in the area expressed their satisfaction, hoping for an improvement in their production during the dry season.

The Korsimoro dam is among the 100 structures included in the national rehabilitation and reinforcement program, launched on January 31, 2026, in Gons©.
