Ouagadougou: Public employees better informed about end-of-service procedures: The president of the Special Delegation of the municipality of Niaogho, Karim Sana, presided over a communication session on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, dedicated to the management of the final departures of public agents, in order to better inform them about their rights and obligations at the end of their career.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the session was initiated by Karim Sana, who emphasized the importance of understanding the provisions governing professional careers and the necessary steps when public employees cease their duties. The event aimed to provide clarity on the procedures involved and was well-attended by public servants from the region.

The presentation was delivered by Iliassa Rouamba, the regional director of the civil service for the Nakamb region. Rouamba addressed critical points such as the various methods of service termination for state employees, the administrative documents required, and the obligations and rights of employees upon the permanent cessation of their duties. The detailed explanation was intended to help participants comprehend retirement, resignation, and other definitive service cessation procedures.

To enhance the understanding of the participants, a practical calculation exercise was conducted. This exercise demonstrated the different stages of the end-of-service process and helped to reinforce the information provided during the session.
