The High Commissioner of Ganzourgou province, Aminata Sorgho/Gouba, chaired a flag-raising ceremony at the prefecture of Salogo (about twenty km north of Zorgho), on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 , to mark the start of the school year, AIB noted on site.Traditionally organized on a rotating basis in the provincial services in Zorgho, this ceremony has been extended to the departments, thus allowing each locality to appropriate this symbol of patriotism.In Salogo, the president of the special communal delegation, Roland Ky, welcomed the high commissioner and his delegation and expressed his gratitude to them for this initiative.The High Commissioner welcomed the strong mobilization of the vital forces of Salogo, while recalling the importance of cultivating patriotism, especially among young people. She also invited parents to support children in their school career, because, for her, success requires close collaboration between parents, students and teachers.
