Ramongo:At the Ramongo-Tanguen A primary school, the educational community marked the second phase of the 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JNEPPC) on Wednesday. The event included a flag-raising ceremony, the reading of a presidential message, and a Dasan-Daaga focused on local gastronomy.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the celebration embraced the theme "Let's produce Burkinabe, let's consume Burkinabe!" and featured a slogan from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore "All for Made in Burkina Let's make every purchase an act of sovereignty." The President highlighted three main obstacles to economic self-sufficiency production, processing, and consumption, urging citizens to enhance agricultural yields and prioritize national products.

The presidential message, recalling Captain Thomas Sankara's 1987 address in Addis Ababa, emphasized the role of farmers, women, foresters, artisans, and traders in promoting local products and ecological restoration. Following this, Comrade Kouna Yvette Sare, President of the special delegation of Ramongo, addressed students, encouraging them to value traditional attire and support national initiatives.

Comrade Wendtenda Paul Marie Zoma, Head of the Basic Education District of Ramongo, commended the educational community's strong mobilization and dedication to academic excellence. The Dasan-Daaga, initiated by the DPEPPNF of Boulkiemde and implemented by the CCEB, turned the school into a local market, where teachers and inspectors prepared traditional dishes like gonre, zamnè, and local couscous. These dishes were enjoyed by authorities, students, and participants, symbolizing a commitment to integrating local products into educational and civic life.
