Razangnaba Pulma Leads New Tourism Initiative in Nando Region

Koudougou: Private tourism stakeholders in the Nando region have launched a new unified organization, the Regional Federation of Tourism Stakeholders (FRAT), with Razang Naaba Pulma elected as its president. This initiative aims to rejuvenate the tourism industry in the area.According to Burkina Information Agency, the decision to appoint Razangnaba Pulma was made during the Constituent General Assembly held at the Koudougou Governorate. Pulma was unanimously chosen to lead a 13-member bureau tasked with revitalizing tourism in the region. The assembly was guided by the regional directorate for Culture, Arts, and Tourism (DRCCAT-Nando) and supported by the governorate, with Technical Advisor Augustin Ouédraogo representing the governor at the ceremony.The formation of FRAT addresses the need for a structured approach to unify stakeholders across the four provinces of the region. It aims to serve as the primary voice for Nando on a national level, advocating for the interests of tourism professionals and p romoting the region's tourism potential. Ouédraogo emphasized the importance of a strong organizational structure for competitive tourism, stating that FRAT would provide Nando with the necessary influence.During the event, Bely Bayala, the Provincial Director of Boulkiemdé, commended the stakeholders for their maturity and expressed his best wishes for the new board's success. He also reiterated the administration's commitment to support the organization.The 13-member board, led by Razangnaba Pulma, will focus on ensuring transparent governance. To support this, the General Assembly appointed two auditors and two advisors to form control and advisory support bodies, ensuring effective oversight of the umbrella organization.
