Ouagadougou: A total of 82 applications for the recruitment of the national coach of the Stallions A have been received by the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF), according to the supreme body of Burkinabe football.
According to Burkina Information Agency, "Following the call for applications launched by the FBF to recruit a national coach for the Stallions A, the general secretariat has registered 82 applications from different nationalities," announced the national football governing body.
The FBF specifies that "the 82 applications have been forwarded to the Commission, which is meeting to review them in accordance with the instructions in the call for applications." Without naming any of the applicants, the Federation explains that following a review, the Commission will select a "shortlist of candidates with whom it will conduct pre-selection interviews on February 19, 20, and 21."
Since the Stallions returned from the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, the FBF has ended its collaboration with coach Brama Traore and launched a call for applications to succeed him.
