Ouagadougou:M©guet Residents of the commune of M©guet shared their views on the fourth anniversary of President Ibrahim Traor©'s rise to power in Burkina Faso, expressing both satisfaction with achievements and expectations for the future.

According to Burkina Information Agency, interviews conducted in M©guet revealed appreciation for the country's governance under Captain Traor©, with several residents highlighting progress in employment, agriculture, infrastructure, electricity, industry, security, health, and education.

He expressed hope for the rehabilitation of roads damaged by the rainy season.

Madi Belembouli from Boll© village shared his satisfaction with recent developments, citing road construction as a key achievement and advocating for ongoing improvements in health and education.

In Sector 1 of M©guet, Paul Compaor© observed thriving businesses and greater transparency in governance. He praised roadworks and improved electricity supply, emphasizing the importance of courage and transparency for development.

From Tanghin village, Abdoul Rachid Bonkoungou highlighted local production initiatives, such as tomato processing and military uniform manufacturing, as beneficial for retaining foreign currency. He also supported the government's anti-corruption efforts and break with France.

Ousmane Simpor©, also from Tanghin, commended the fight against terrorism and the recruitment of Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) to strengthen the army.

Abdoulaye Demb¨ga from Ki©tenga village praised the efficient use of resources and cited initiatives like Faso Mªbo, construction of schools and health centers. He expressed his hope for the continuation of Captain Traor©'s work, concluding with the declaration "Homeland or Death, We Will Prevail!"
