Residents of Bassi Contribute 10 Tons of Cement and Equipment to Faso Mebo


Ouagadougou: A delegation of residents from the commune of Bassi in the province of Zondoma, Yadga region, led by their traditional chief, “Naaba Kiiba,” handed over 10 tons of cement, 40 shovels, and 10 wheelbarrows to the presidential initiative “Faso Mebo” on Friday in Ouagadougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the contribution was made as part of a collective effort by the people of Bassi to support the construction and development of Burkina Faso through the Faso Mebo initiative. The donation also included a paving stone collection session, underscoring the community’s commitment to the national development goals set by President Captain Ibrahim Traore.

Bassi Naaba Kiiba stated that their contribution was a response to the call made by authorities, highlighting the mobilization of Bassi’s daughters and sons who are eager to support the President’s development efforts. The traditional leader emphasized the importance of collective participation in this initiative, which aims to benefit both p
resent and future generations.

He also offered blessings to the Head of State, expressing hope that divine support would accompany him in his mission to combat terrorism. Naaba Kiiba encouraged those who remain hesitant to join the movement for truth, development, and the liberation of the Burkinabe people, as championed by Captain Ibrahim Traore.
