Pissila:Four years into the People's Progressive Revolution (RPP), locals in Pissila are praising advancements in combating insecurity, resettling displaced populations, and revitalizing socio-economic activities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, a vox pop conducted by their correspondent in Pissila gathered opinions highlighting the positive developments. Tampour Sawadogo, a young trader, remarked on the significant progress under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traor©. He acknowledged the return of peace to Pissila and the advancement of development projects as evidence of effective leadership.
Wassomd Nabaloum, a grain seller, commented on the improved security situation. She noted that terrorism had become a thing of the past, allowing residents to move freely and engage in farming activities. Nabaloum credited the efforts of security forces and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), expressing gratitude to the President of Burkina Faso.
In the nearby resettled village of Thiou-Poec, Rasman Oudraogo shared his satisfaction upon returning after two years of displacement. Oudraogo emphasized renewed hope due to the security improvements, enabling villagers to return to their fields and children to resume schooling.
Maria Ki, a Community Health Worker, highlighted achievements in multiple areas over the four years of the Revolution. Ki praised the equipping of security forces, the resettlement of communities, and progress across various sectors, attributing these successes to Captain Ibrahim Traor©'s leadership.
