Kenedougou: The High Commissioner of the Kenedougou province, Sadou Sakira, has called upon the youth of Orodara to actively engage in the 'Revolutionary Youth on the March' Initiative. This appeal was made during the commemoration of the first anniversary of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event commenced with a tribute to the nation's martyrs, followed by a fun run and an aerobics session. The initiative, established on April 1, 2025, by Captain Ibrahim Traore, aims to introduce a new governance model in Burkina Faso grounded in social justice, national sovereignty, integrity, and patriotism.
Sadou Sakira emphasized the importance of youth involvement in the revolution's success, urging them to engage both individually and collectively. "The President of Burkina Faso is counting on you for the resounding success of the Progressive and Popular Revolution. You are its lifeblood and its vanguard," he stated.
The High Commissioner highlighted that the initiative seeks to instill a revolutionary spirit in young people, encouraging them to view their actions and tools as contributions to reclaiming territorial integrity and national sovereignty. He urged the youth to embrace the initiative wholeheartedly and participate in future activities.
