Samogohiri:The people of Samogohiri participated in a ceremony on Friday, October 2, 2026, to raise the national colors at the prefecture, marking the second phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event began at 7:15 a.m. with the raising of the national flag, accompanied by the singing of the Ditany by attendees, creating an atmosphere of solemnity and patriotic fervor. Mamadou Ladji Ouattara, Head of the Basic Education District, delivered a message on behalf of the President of the Special Delegation of Samogohiri, reflecting the sentiments of the President of Burkina Faso.

The President's message emphasized the importance of promoting local consumption under the theme "My plate, my pride." The aim is to encourage the population to prioritize local products, support national producers, and strengthen national sovereignty through economic patriotism. Participants expressed support for this initiative, which seeks to bolster civic values and deepen attachment to national symbols.
