Sanaba Women Launch March 8th Commemoration with Sanitation Drive

Sanaba: The women of Sanaba have launched the March 8th commemoration with a sanitation operation, focusing on cleaning the town hall and several streets in the city on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in preparation for International Women's Day.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Sanaba Communal Women's Coordination organized a series of activities, including sanitation days, to mark the importance of the day dedicated to them. Equipped with rakes, brooms, picks, and other cleaning tools, the women efficiently cleared identified sites of plastic waste, weeds, and pieces of paper that pollute the environment.

At the conclusion of the event, the coordinator, Sidibe Aminadab, praised the women's dedication and announced a follow-up meeting for the next phase of the program. She also encouraged each woman to maintain cleanliness in front of her own home, fostering a positive momentum for a successful commemoration of their day in a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
