Djibasso: As part of the Days of Patriotic Engagement and Civic Participation (JEPPC), a large-scale cleanup operation took place this Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Djibasso medical center. The activity mobilized stakeholders from the education sector.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative was made possible thanks to the commitment of the municipal administrative authorities, the inspectors from the Basic Education District (CEB), teachers, and students. Participants carried out cleaning and maintenance work, including the collection of household waste and plastic debris.
This sanitation activity contributed to the improvement of the medical center's courtyard, creating a more pleasant environment. Nurse Alima Kone, representing the head physician of the medical center, and State-certified midwife Yacouba Badolo expressed their satisfaction and congratulated the participants for their commitment to this activity, which is of great importance to patients and their families.
The mobilization continued in schools, where similar actions were undertaken to improve working conditions for students and teachers. At the conclusion of the event, the first vice-president of the special delegation, Soumala Ganame, commended the initiative and thanked the CEB officials, teachers, and students for their commitment to the ideals of the Progressive and Popular Revolution. The Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), Pascal Coulibaly, was also present.
