Sapon©: The raising of the national colors took place in the courtyard of the Sapon© town hall on Monday, July 6, 2026. This ceremony was an opportunity for the president of the special delegation of the municipality to deliver the message of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Confederation of Sahel States (AES).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was presided over by Comrade Koti No«l Sanou, Prefect of the Sapon© Department, in the presence of community leaders and the people of Sapon©. After the raising of the flag, Comrade Koti No«l Sanou delivered the message from Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor©, President of Burkina Faso, Head of State, and President of the Confederation of Sahel States (AES).

In his message, the head of state recalled the values of unity, security, solidarity, sovereignty and endogenous development. He also called on the people of the Sahel to remain united and in solidarity for the well-being of the population.

At the end of the message, Comrade Koti No«l Sanou reminded the administrative staff to wear Faso danfani and k´k´ donda every Monday and Thursday in the public administration before wishing all citizens of the commune a fruitful month of July.
