Sapouy: The written tests for the 2026 baccalaureate session officially commenced this Tuesday in the province of Ziro, marking the beginning of a pivotal period for 591 candidates distributed across two juries in Sapouy.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Ziro, Saba Zorom©, initiated the examination process by opening the first envelope of subjects for jury 349 at the Municipal High School of Sapouy, specifically for candidates in series D. Accompanied by his close associates, Mr. Zorom© visited various examination halls, offering words of encouragement and wishing the candidates success in their endeavors.
Mr. Zorom© urged the candidates to exhibit serenity, concentration, and commitment, emphasizing the importance of achieving results that reflect the province’s ambitions. He reminded them of the excellent performances recorded in the CEP and BEPC 2026, expressing hopes for Ziro to maintain its reputation as one of the best provinces in the region.
Augustin Tiono, Head of the Examinations and Competitions Department, reported a slight decrease in the number of candidates compared to the previous session. For the 2026 session, Ziro has 591 candidates, comprising 304 boys and 287 girls, spread between the two juries based in Sapouy.
The initial tests proceeded calmly, under the supervision of administrative and educational authorities, ensuring a smooth start to the examination period.
