Saturdays Designated for Gutter Cleaning in Toma

Nayala: Saturdays are now reserved for cleaning gutters in Toma. The Patriotic Watch Movement of Faso (MVPF), in collaboration with the National Collective for Refoundation (CNR), launched this Saturday a gutter cleaning operation in the city of Toma. MVPF President Jean No«l Foro emphasized the importance of this cleaning effort, which aims to prevent damage to pipes before the first rains.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this measure aligns with the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation initiated by Captain Ibrahim Traor©, President of Faso. Armed with shovels, dabas, and picks, participants cleaned the right side of the gutter, using tricycles to remove the residue.

The initiative has been well-received, with people of goodwill providing financial support. Oumar Barro, the head of the city's special delegation, announced that the city hall will supply crane trucks to facilitate the cleanup.

MVPF members are dedicated to raising public awareness about the importance of gutter maintenance for public health and city cleanliness. The activists have agreed to reconvene for the next cleanup session next Saturday at 6:00 a.m.
