Barsalogho:The 2026-2027 school year has commenced in the Basic Education Districts (CEB) of Barsalogho 1 and 2. Despite minor challenges, officials from these districts report that the academic year is underway.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Abdoulaye Sawadogo, head of the CEB of Barsalogho 2, confirmed that while there is a shortage of classrooms, teachers are present, and school activities have resumed.

In Barsalogho 1, Jean Marie Ouedraogo, head of the district, noted that teachers have welcomed students back, and registration is ongoing.

In Barsalogho 2, the reopening of departmental and municipal high schools has necessitated some primary schools to vacate previously used premises. To address this, local solutions such as utilizing available rooms and converting temporary hangars are being explored, pending further support from higher authorities.
