Sebba: Primary and secondary school teachers in Sebba were celebrated on Saturday during a ceremony held in the town hall meeting room, organized by the school councils. This event took place a few hours after the announcement of the school exam results.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the primary and secondary school councils of Sebba paid a vibrant tribute to the teachers of both levels of education on Saturday, June 13, at the town hall of the commune. This recognition was for the performances recorded in the CEP and BEPC exams, 2026 session.

cessful candidates out of 15 independent candidates. At the primary level, 95 students passed out of 106 candidates who took the Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP), results deemed very satisfactory by education stakeholders.
The second vice-president of the special delegation, Bako Bali, commended the teachers’ commitment and dedication throughout the school year. He noted that these achievements were the result of a collective effort involving teachers, the defense and security forces, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland, traditional and religious authorities, and education partners. He reaffirmed the municipality’s commitment to providing further support to the education sector, emphasizing that children represent the future of the nation.
The parents’ representative, Boureima Moussa, expressed the families’ gratitude to all those who contributed to keeping the school open in Yagha province despite the challenging circumstances. For his part, the teachers’ representative, Ly Abdoulaye, stated that this tribute ceremony was a first for Sebba and reflected the commitment of all stakeholders to work together to improve education. He assured everyone that the teachers would redouble their efforts to achieve better results, while also expressing hopes for the return of peace to Sebba and throughout Burkina Faso.
