Manga:The second edition of the Nazinon Lands Festival officially commenced on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in Manga. The festival, themed "Unity, Culture, Peace and Youth," aims to celebrate the cultural richness of the Nazinon region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event will run from October 19 to 25, offering festival-goers an immersive experience in the traditions, languages, skills, and creativity of the region's communities.

The Minister in charge of Basic Education, Jacques Sosthène Dingara, who is the patron of the ceremony, emphasized the importance of cultural heritage. He remarked, "Our culture, our traditions, our languages, our know-how and our creativity are not simply legacies of the past. They constitute strategic riches for building our future. As the African sage teaches us, a tree cut off from its roots cannot claim to grow sustainably."
