S©gu©n©ga Baccalaureate Exams Begin with 140 Candidates Competing


S©gu©n©ga: The starting signal for the written Baccalaureate exams, 2026 session, was given Tuesday at the S©gu©n©ga Departmental High School, AIB observed.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the jury, Sadou Yam©ogo, announced that this year the municipality presents a total of 140 candidates. Among these, 57 candidates are in series A4 and 83 candidates are in series D.



Before the opening of the envelope containing the first exam paper, the Vice-President of the Special Delegation, Yacouba Guiro, addressed the candidates. He encouraged them and commended the work accomplished throughout the year by the students, teachers, and families. Guiro urged the candidates to remain calm, confident, disciplined, persevering, and to act with integrity during the exam.



This launch activity was chaired by the first vice-president of the Special Delegation, Yacouba Guiro, and was attended by the president of the citizen watch, the commander of the territorial gendarmerie brigade, administrative authorities, and local service heads. The authorities present extended their best wishes for success to all the candidates on the jury.
