Bangrin: The Provincial Consultation Framework (CCP) of S©no held its second ordinary session of the year on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Dori. The session was dedicated to the presentation of the new National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030, titled 'Relance,' with an estimated cost of 36,000 billion FCFA.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of the S©no province, Yaya Kon©, presided over the meeting. He stated that the primary aim of this new development framework is to restore security across the national territory. Additionally, it seeks to strengthen national sovereignty, drive economic transformation, and enhance the social well-being of the population.

Mr. Kon© emphasized that the success of this plan is contingent on the support of local communities and their effective engagement with the reforms initiated by the State. He highlighted the importance of informing the people of S©no about the progress and prospects of the Recovery Plan to encourage their full participation in realizing this national vision.

Participants in the session engaged with several presentations on the objectives, intervention strategies, and future prospects of the "Strengthening social ties, accountability and community security (SOLID¨R)" project. They were also briefed on the context, vision, general objectives, strategic directions, financing, and expected outcomes of the RECOVERY Plan.

Further discussions included a focus on the innovations of Law No. 011-2025/ALT of July 27, 2025, which pertains to freedom of association in Burkina Faso. Lastly, the role and significance of public print and audiovisual media outlets, such as AIB, RTB, and €°ditions Sidwaya, in local development were also underscored during the session.
