Solenzo: Teachers in the Solenzo 1 Basic Education District have set themselves a target of at least a 90% success rate for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) for the 2025-2026 school year, as discussed during their back-to-school general assembly.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the assembly, held on Friday, 24 October 2025, was attended by teachers from various schools within Solenzo 1. The meeting aimed to provide guidance for a successful academic year and ensure quality education for learners in the district.
The Head of the Basic Education District, Eustache Bicaba, praised the teachers for their dedication and the outcomes achieved in the previous year’s exams, which resulted in an 87% success rate in the CEP. Bicaba emphasized the importance of teacher commitment, collaboration, solidarity among stakeholders, and effective communication as key expectations for the upcoming school year.
During the discussions, educational supervisors and teachers reached a consensus on reorganizing educational activity areas. This reorganization will include educational days where teachers will receive training to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness for students.
To further support the local school canteens, teachers were encouraged to establish gardens and school fields during the holidays.
