Sourou: The donation was presented the same day at the Tougan municipal police station. It was received by Siaka Boro, the representative of the president of the special delegation (PDS) of Tougan.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the association's president, Sidiki Ky, stated that the donation aims to contribute to the construction and development of the Sourou region specifically, and Burkina Faso in general. Ky emphasized the importance of self-development, echoing the philosophy of the late Joseph Ki-Zerbo. He pointed out that development should come from within, highlighting the value of local resources, collective intelligence, and community solidarity.

Ky also expressed gratitude towards the administrative and military authorities for their daily sacrifices in defending the Sourou region and its population. He thanked the activists of the association, urging them to stay mobilized for future development actions.

Upon receiving the donation, Siaka Boro expressed appreciation for ADRD's initiative. He encouraged the people of the Sourou region to follow the association's example by supporting the presidential Faso Mªbo initiative. As a reminder, ADRD had previously donated five tons of cement in Ouagadougou in December 2025 for the same initiative.
