According to Burkina Information Agency, at the Dande departmental high school, most students were present. Principal Yemdaogo Bougouma expressed satisfaction with the turnout, highlighting the bustling presence of students, teaching staff, administration, and support staff. He also mentioned the introduction of a multi-skilled class for second-year students specializing in fish farming, encouraging teachers to fulfill their duties and students to remain diligent and committed.
Souroukoudalo Sanou, a 9th-grade student, expressed enthusiasm for the new school year, despite some anxiety about the upcoming BEPC exam. She stated her intention to study diligently to succeed in her exams.
At the Bakaribougou public primary school, about ten kilometers north of Dande, classes resumed with approximately 192 students across six classes. Headmaster Konibe Da organized a cleaning session to ensure classes could start without delay. Additionally, toddlers at the Deen Kanu Early Childhood Development and Education Center returned to school joyfully, accompanied by their parents.
