Tapoa: The CEB of Diapaga Closes 3rd JEPPC Edition with “Dassandaga”

Tapoa: The Diapaga Basic Education District (CEB) closed the 3rd edition of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) on Saturday, April 25, 2026, with a "Dassandaga" at the Diapaga "B" public primary school. The event featured traditional attire, local cuisine, music, and drinks, engaging both the educational community and the local population.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the CEB of Diapaga once again took part in the national movement to promote local products. Through this "Dassandaga" event, which combined culinary, food, and clothing arts, the educational community in Diapaga demonstrated its local initiatives aimed at enhancing the consumption of local products. The improved security situation in the town has allowed the CEB to stand out with its creative endeavors.

Couldiati Alima Abga, director of the 'B' school in Diapaga, expressed gratitude to the hierarchy for choosing her establishment to host the ceremony. She commended the strong mobilization of her colleagues, viewing the school's operation as a symbol of the resilience of the people of Diapaga. Ms. Couldiati emphasized that the initiative aims to promote local cuisine, which she views as symbols of cultural and economic sovereignty. She stated, "By valuing what we produce, we contribute not only to the resilience of our communities but also to building a strong, dignified, and independent nation."

Inspector Hubert Ouoba, director of primary education at the CEB of Diapaga, highlighted that this Dassandaga is more than a moment of conviviality; it is a civic act reflecting the CEB's commitment to changing habits, supporting local producers, and instilling values of responsibility, patriotism, and national pride in learners. "Our role as educators is essential: to train responsible, supportive citizens who are deeply attached to the nation. This is why the Diapaga CEB is working to be a model by taking concrete actions in favor of endogenous development," he said.

The event saw participation from administrative, military, paramilitary, traditional, and religious authorities of Diapaga, who joined forces with the CEB. This Dassandaga, showcasing the cultural diversity of the Diapaga educational community, marked the grand finale of the 3rd edition of the CEB Diapaga's JEPPC (Journ©es d'‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬°ducation et de Promotion du Premier degr© - Primary Education and Promotion Days).
