Ouagadougou: The 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) was launched in the municipality of Koti, Tuy province, under the leadership of Lassinan Dierma, president of the special municipal delegation.According to Burkina Information Agency, the event commenced with the raising of the national colors and a message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, as read by Lassinan Dierma. The theme for this edition is "Food sovereignty and economic patriotism: together, let us cultivate our dignity through local production and consumption." The PDS urged the community to bolster economic patriotism by supporting local products, aiming to enhance food sovereignty and endogenous development.The first phase of the 3rd edition of the JEPPC is scheduled from March 26 to April 9, 2026. Over these fifteen days, Koti will host a variety of activities, including awareness sessions, flag-raising ceremonies in schools, clean-up days, popular cross-country races, and solidarity days.
