The Civil Service Organizes Training for Career Monitoring in Ziro Province

Ouagadougou: The Nando Regional Directorate of the Civil Service organized a two-day training session at the Sapouy High Commission to support civil servants in Ziro Province in managing and monitoring their careers through the platform alias. Led by the Regional Director of the Civil Service of Nando, Comrade Aminata Oudraogo, the team notably created and distributed access codes to agents who did not have them, as well as assisting those experiencing difficulties with their old codes.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative aims to bring the administration closer to public employees and allow them easier access to information related to their careers. "Our primary objective is to help public employees create their Alias codes, which will allow them to access information and track their career, including the status of certain actions," she explained. The platform should also help reduce the need for staff to travel to regional offices for procedures or information requests related to their careers.

Beyond the creation of access codes, the mission gathered information on the difficulties encountered by staff. Those that can be addressed at the regional level are handled locally, while cases falling under the purview of the Directorate General of the Civil Service in Ouagadougou will be forwarded for processing and follow-up. The director also encouraged staff to prioritize administrative channels and avoid using intermediaries to process their files.

"We are here to serve them. If they have any difficulties, they can contact us directly. And if the issue falls outside our jurisdiction, we will forward it to the Directorate General of the Civil Service for processing," she reassured them. Finally, she urged civil servants to take advantage of these opportunities to communicate with the Civil Service services to better understand their rights, obligations, and career development.
