Ouagadougou: The Constitutional Council declared on Friday, consistent with the Constitution, the new law on the status of the judiciary, adopted on April 26, 2024 by the ALT, the AIB learned.

This green light from the 9 wise men authorizes President Ibrahim Traoré to promulgate the said law.

In another decision, the Constitutional Council declared that the law relating to the attributions, composition, organization and functioning of the Superior Council of the Magistracy was in conformity with the Constitution.
