The resident representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Alfredo Teixeira, and the head of government, Dr Apollinaire Kyélem de Tambèla, discussed Monday, during an audience, on the priorities of Burkina Faso for good collaboration.'We discussed with the Prime Minister around the areas of intervention of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with a view to collecting the priorities of the government of Burkina Faso for better collaboration,' declared the resident representative of the UNDP , Alfredo Teixeira.According to Alfredo Teixeira, UNDP supports Burkina in the implementation of the stabilization and development action plan, as well as in presidential initiative programs which include the offensive for agro-silvo-pastoral and fisheries production.Also, he continued, the United Nations Program supports Burkina Faso in the sectors of energy, environment, climate change and dematerialization.For him, given the diversity of current challenges, it was appropriate to com e and collect Burkina's priorities for appropriate support.After the Prime Minister, the UNDP resident representative plans to meet in the coming days the Minister in charge of Finance and other members of the government involved in his areas of action.Source: Burkina Information Agency
